The Vine Shed Cellar Door, offers a fantastic range of wines from both the Vine Shed & Conte Estate labels for tasting & purchase. When visiting, we recommend trying the Conte Estate Circa 1880 Shiraz along with share platters, tapas, wood oven pizzas, as well as other tasty food selections. Sit back and enjoy live music on Sundays.

In addition to the cellar door there are plenty of things to do for everyone. Try our Wine & Chocolate pairing or our VIP Tasting Flight. If you’re celebrating a special occasion we cater for large groups with our shared set menus and even offering a Boho picnic set up amongst the vineyards.

For the kids, a play area so you can enjoy your day while your kids are kept entertained. Live music over the weekends. Various spaces to enjoy inside and outside with amazing views from the deck.

The Vine Shed Story

The idea of creating a Venue & Cellar Door after 3 generations of supplying fruit and wines to other local wineries was an exciting step forward for us as a family.
This magnificent Venue & Cellar Door with its rustic charm is located in the town of beautiful McLaren Vale South Australia, 40 minutes’ drive from Adelaide and set amongst the Conte Estate Circa 1880 Shiraz vineyard. This extraordinary vineyard alone has a story to tell, planted over 130 years ago and still producing exceptional fruit, creating extraordinary wine.

Welcome to The Vine Shed Venue, we are delighted that you are considering our venue for your special day, may your adventure start here with us.

The Venue, available for hire is unique in style offering high end rustic charm. A combination of chunky timbers, brushed black metals, timber floors, large barn doors and floor to ceiling windows overlooking estate vineyards new and old.

Seating for up to 160 people sit down, providing you the flexibility to customise your wedding to suit your style and budget. Our extensive list of event suppliers will be provided to help tailor every detail to create your special day, from the food catering, flowers, photography, music and much more…
